BUBONIC PLAGUE

Bubonic plague is an infection caused by the Yersinia pestis bacteria in wich inflammation of infected nodes in the sexual organs and eyes predominates, the disease is called pneumonic plague. Fleas, lice and other insects that feed on animal blood carry the bacteria. these insects often live on rodents and others animals.

The bubonic plague brought with it many problems and deaths for the civilization of that time.

Thia plague be trasmitted directly from person to person. Infected people can spread the disease to others when they cough or sneeze.

No one could figure out that exactly caused the plague think that air spread the disease.

SYMPTOMS:

PAIN AREAS: Abdomen and muscles

COUGH: Bloody

WHOLE BODY: Fever, chills, fatigue, discimfort.

GASTROINTESTINAL: Diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting

ALSO COMMON: Delirium, shortness of breath, headache, phlegm, swollen soft lymph node, or bleeding.

PLAGUE DOCTORS

The doctors wore masks with a long nose like a beak. they thought bad-smelling air spread the plague from person to person. they put dried flowers, herbs, and spices inside the masks to keep from smelling this bad air.

To prevent contact with patients, they wore gloves and log robes that covered their entire bodies.

They commonly treated patients by bloodletting. This process involved draining a patient's blood.

Finally, in my opinion, I think that what happened in the bubonic plague is happening today with covid 19 since the two bring with them many deaths and symptoms that are fatal.

I think that the bubonic or black plague was a time of a lot of tragedies wich lasted more than 50 years and became more dangerous as time went by.
